CREPE CHAIN COOKS UP REVAMP - 13.09.2006

Glasgow creperie and sandwich bar Crepe a Croissant is undergoing a six-figure rebranding exercise.

The sandwich empire, run by Keshan Nahar and Nikki Sharp is investing £100,000 in a refit of its shops and packaging before it embarks on a franchise drive.

Emphasising the word Crepe, it is hoped the rebranding will help the business expand abroad.

Keshan said: "We opened the first Crepe a Croissant store 14 years ago and felt now was the time to invest in freshening ourselves up."

The rebranding encompasses everything from signage and a new logo to a refit of their shops' interiors and branding of all disposables. A website has also been launched.

The St Enoch Square branch was the first to be kitted out and the Byres Road, Woodlands Road and Hope Street outlets will soon follow suit.

Since the rebranding of the St Enoch branch, Keshan has reported an increase in trade.
